What is indistinct chatter?

Just add paradise.

IN as few words as possible.

Indistinct chatter is the language extras speak in crowd scenes in order to fill gaps in conversation.

So much of the web is indistinct chatter. The chatter has always been there, since there were fewer than 100 pages. And so often, what we throw out there, either via twitter, on a weblog, via facebook or on a multitude of web pages, turns to that same chatter. It fills in the spaces. At times it means more than planned written dialog. It can make us laugh, give us hints for survival, enrich our lives. But it can only do those things if we listen closely.

My indistinct chatter includes personal experience, UX hints & tricks, recipes, and occasional rants about my failing backyard garden. Two tomatoes, I tell you.
